This portfolio consists of desert & volcanic region landscapes shot on Fuji Sensia or Velvia slide film or digitally, from various US and Canadian National and State Parks, Central Europe and India.

  • You can purchase fine art prints from the galleries, licence images for commercial use, or ask permission for non-profit use by sending us an email. These galleries are updated frequently, so check back often for new additions to the portfolio.
  • If you are interested in the travelogues and travel guides instead, there are comprehensive articles on most of the places that I have visited, which can be found on the Travel page. These travel pages also contain many more photographs from those visits.
  • There are quite a few articles on photography techniques, worthwhile books to read, and important web sites to visit, on the Photography Tips and Techniques pages.

The thumbnail index below, as well as the images themselves, may appear fuzzy or low-res. This is intentional, and also a by-product of not reducing the image in high-quality. The originals from these galleries are immaculate and razor sharp. Please email me if you have any specific questions about any image.
